✺ What is Parts of Speech?

✤ All the English words are devided into eight groups according to the work they do in a sentence. Each group is called part of speech.

✤ अँग्रेजी भाषा में जितने भी शब्द हैं, उन्हें वाक्यों में कार्य एवं प्रयोग के विचार से आठ भागों में बाँटा गया हैं। इनमें से प्रत्येक भाग को Parts of Speech कहते हैं।

1. Noun (संज्ञा):→ N

2. Pronoun (सर्वनाम):→ Pro

3. Adjective (विशेषण):→ Adj

4. Verb (क्रिया):→ V

5. Adverb (क्रियविशेषण):→ Adv

6. Preposition (संबंधबोधक अव्यय):→ Pre

7. Conjunction (समुच्चयबोधक अव्यय):→ Conj

8. Interjection (विस्मयादिबोधक अव्यय):→ Inter
