✺ What is Interjection ?

✤ An Interjection is a word which expresses some sudden feeling or emotion.

✤ Interjection वह शब्द हैं, जिससे आकास्मिक प्रसन्नता, दुःख, आश्चर्य या मन का कोई अन्य भाव व्यक्त होता हैं।

Example:→

Ah! (हा! हाय!)                Bravo! (शाबाश! वाह-वाह!)             Hello (ऐ! एजी!)

Aha!(अहा!)                   Hurrah! (वाह!)                            Hush! (चुप!)

Alas! (हाय!)                   What! (कितना बड़ा! कैसा!)             Oh! (हे!)

❍ इनका प्रयोग अब वाक्य के माध्यम से देखे।—

Alas! The tiger is dead.

Oh! I have burnt my finger.

Ah! Have they gone?

Hurrah! We have won the match.

Hello! What are you doing there?

Bravo! Go on.

उपरोक्त वाक्यों में Alas, Oh, Ah, Hurrah, Hello और Bravo इत्यादि Interjection हैं। ‘Alas और Oh’ से अत्यधिक दुःख, ‘Ah’ से तीव्र निराश तथा ‘Hurrah/Hello/Bravo’ से अत्यधिक उल्लास का बोध होता हैं। स्पष्टतः ये शब्द मन के भीतर उठ रहे भावों की तीव्र अभिव्यक्ति के सूचक हैं, जो अचानक हमारे मुख से निकल पड़ते हैं।
