1. My father said to me, “Don’t walk in the sun.”

Ans. My father told/ordered/asked me not to walk in the sun

Or, :- my father forbade me to walk in the sun.

 

2. Ram said to his servant, “Do not do this.’

Ans. Ram ordered his servant not to do that.

Or, Ram forbade his servant to do that.

 

3. He said, “My son, don’t kill the bird.”

Ans. He told/suggested me not to kill the bird.

Or, he forbade me to kill the bird.

 

4. He said, “Don’t sleep late.”

Ans. He told/asked/ordered(me) not to sleep late.

Or, he forbade (me) to sleep late.

 

5. The teacher told us, “Don’t talk in the class.”

Ans. The teacher ordered us not to talk in the class.

 

6. The doctor said to her, “Don’t drink.”

Ans. The doctor advised her not to drink.

 

7. He said, “Don’t ask so many questions.”

Ans. He told me not to ask so many questions.

 

8. The beggar said, “Don’t beat me.”

Ans. The beggar requested/asked me not to beat him.

 

9. The thief said to the judge, “Don’t send me to jail.”

Ans. The thief requested the judge not to send him to jail.

 

10. He said, “Don’t touch this wire, John.”

Ans. He suggested hohn not to touch that wire.

 

11. “Don’t stay here,” She said.

Ans. She advised me not to stay there.

 

12. The student said to the teacher, “please do not order me to go out of the class.”

Ans. The students requested the teacher not to order him to go out of the class.

 

13. Ranjan said to his friend, “Do not spoil your health.”

Ans. Ranjan advised his friend not to spoil his health.

 

14. She said to me, “Don’t go today.”

Ans. She told me not to go that day.

 

15. I said, “Don’t be misguided.”

Ans. I advised him not to be misguided.

 

16. The doctor said to me, “Don’t smoke if you want to improve your health.”

Ans. The doctor advised me not to smoke if I wanted to improve my health.

 

17. The teacher said, “Don’t make a noise when I am in the class.

Ans. The teacher told/ordered us not to make a noise when / she was in thew class.

 

18. I said, “Don’t drive fast when the road is busy.”

Ans. I advised him/her not to drive fast when the road was busy.

 

19. She said to him, “Do not go there if you want to stay here.”

Ans. She advised him not to go there if he wanted to stay there.

 

20. I said to my friend, “Don’t be afraid when you are with me.”

Ans. I told my friend not to be afraid when I was with him.
