Ans. He told/asked his wife to prepare a cup of tea.

 

9. The doctor said to me, “Take the medicine in time.”

Ans. The doctor advised / suggested me to take the medicine.

 

10. Mother said to me, “Go to market.”

Ans. Mother told / asked me to go to market.

 

11. The beggar said to me, “Kindly give me some food.”

Ans. The beggar requested me to give him some food.

 

12. The teacher said, “Get up early.”

Ans. The teacher suggested/told/asked to get up early.

 

13. The doctor said to me, “Take care of your health.”

Ans. The doctor advised me to take care of my health.

 

14. She said to me, “Have a cup of tea.”

She told/suggested me to have a cup of tea.

 

15. The saint said to me, “believe in God.”

Ans. The saint suggested me to believe in God.

 

16. He said to her, “wait for me till I return.”

Ans. He told / suggested her to wait for him till her returned.

 

17. He said to me, “please remember what I told you.”

Ans. He requested me to remember what he had told me.

 

18. Mohan said to his brother, “Depend on what I say.”

Ans. Mohan told/suggested his brother to depend on what he said.

 

19. The teacher said, “Work hard if you want to get success.”

Ans. The teacher advised me to work hard if I wanted to get success.
