Exercise-91

1. He says, “I am your friend, and you are my friend.”

Ans. He tells me that he is my friend, and I am his friend.

 

 

2. She said, “I was waiting for you.”

Ans. She told me that she had been waiting for me.

 

3. The boys said, “We can’t do without your help.”

Ans. The boys told me that they couldn’t do without my help.

 

4. You said, “I will not give this pen to you.”

Ans. You told me that you would not give that pen to me.

 

5. “You should help me,” said she.

Ans. She told me that I should help her.  

 

6. “okay, I will come tomorrow”, he said.

Ans. He said that he would come the next/following day.

 

7. He said, “Rekha, I love you.”

Ans. He told Rekha that he loved her.  

       

8. She said, “You should help me, Mohan.”

Ans. She told Mohan that he should help her. 

 

9. “You can sit here, Mohan,” the teacher said.

Ans. The teachers told Mohan that he could sit there.

 

10. The boss said, “Well, you can take it now.”

Ans. The boss told me that I could take it then.

 

 

11. “I wrote three letters yesterday”, said she.

Ans. She said that she had written three letters he previous day.

 

12. He said, “Radha, you are my life.”

Ans. He told Radha that she was his life.

 

13. “Everything I have is yours,” she said.

Ans. She told me that everything she had was mine.

 

14. “I had completed my job”, he said.

Ans. He said that he had completed his job.

 

15. He said, “well, I shall punish you today.”

Ans. He told me that he would punish me that day.  

  

16. “I shall help you.” she said to me, “if you help me.”

Ans. She told me that she would help me if I helped her.

 

17. “Two and two is four”, said the teacher.

Ans. The teacher said that tow and tow is four.     

                                           

18. “I love you”, the man said to her, “because you have been kind to me.”

Ans. The man told her that he loved her because she had been kind to him.   

            

19. “You are a good boy”, said the teacher, “so I shall help you.”

Ans. The teacher told me that I was a good boy he/she would help me.    

          

20. “You can go now”, the master said to the servant, “because I don’t need you.”

Ans. The master told the servant that he could go then because he didn’t need him.
