Direction: Turn the following into the passive.

1. He said, “I am going to Patna today.”

Ans. He said that he was going to Patna that day.

 

2. She said to me, “I shall stay here with you.”

Ans. She told me that she would stay there with me.

 

3. He said, “I shall do it tomorrow.”

Ans. He said that he would it he next/following day.

 

4. She said, “My father come yesterday.”

Ans. She said that her father had come the previous day.

 

5. They said to her, “We shall see you tomorrow.”

Ans. They told her that they should see her the next day.

 

6. He said, “The sky is cloudy now.”

Ans. He said that the sky was cloudy them.

 

7. He said, “I did not break these plates.”

Ans. He said that he had not broken those plated.

 

8. My boss said to me, “You can take this away with you.”

Ans. My boss told me that I could take that away with me.

 

9. He said, “I saw a book here.”

Ans. He said that he had seen a book there.

 

10. She said, “I am now opening this box.”

Ans. She said that she was them opening that box.

 

11. She said, “I will dance tomorrow.”

12. He said, “She arrived yesterday and will go tomorrow.”
